THE CHRISTIAN QUOTATION OF THE DAY
Christ, our Light

CQOD Mailing List

The Christian Quotation of the Day provides a daily Scripture meditation and a quiet time reflection, in addition to the quotation, as a part of its daily mailing service. To subscribe, see below.
The Christian Quotation of the Day is now available via e-mail in two forms: plain-text and HTML. If you are interested in receiving the Christian Quotation of the Day in your daily e-mail, use one or the other of the following procedures.
To receive CQOD in plain-text form, post a blank message to cqod-subscribe@cqod.com. You will then receive a confirmation message at your email address which must be replied to before the subscription can begin.

To receive CQOD in HTML form, post a blank message to cqodh-subscribe@cqod.com. You will then receive a confirmation message at your email address which must be replied to before the subscription can begin.

Likewise, there are two distinct procedures for unsubscribing from CQOD.
To terminate an existing subscription to CQOD in plain-text form, post a blank message to cqod-unsubscribe@cqod.com.

To terminate an existing subscription to CQOD in HTML form, post a blank message to cqodh-unsubscribe@cqod.com.

Be careful. The addresses are very similar: cqod vs. cqodh. Cross subscribing or unsubscribing between the lists may cause the curator headaches. :-)

Try this--

AOL Users: If your mail is being filtered, be sure to permit mail from curator@cqod.com, which is the sender of the Christian Quotation of the Day.
You can start a subscription for an alternate address, for example "john@host.com", just add a hyphen and your address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word: cqotd-subscribe-john=host.com@cqod.com
You will then receive a confirmation message at that address which must be replied to before the subscription can begin.
To stop subscription for this address, mail: cqod-unsubscribe-john=host.com@cqod.com
So far as it is within our power to prevent, no commercial or unauthorized use will ever be made of your e-mail address.
Quotations are sent to the mailing list each night at 2 a.m., Eastern Time. Since the list is rather long, it may take a while for one to receive your particular copy.

Notice: If you are having trouble receiving the Christian Quotation of the Day, please write to me so that we can get the problem corrected.
